Anger should only ever be projected on yourself. … That is the right utilization of anger – not projected outside, but projected towards oneself, to change.
Love is wonderful. Love is a many-splendorous thing, yes, of course – on the screen! In real life, it is full of discipline, of orderly behavior, of correct living, of self-discipline. In this sense, charity begins at home, but it does not end there.

Contrary to the popular myth, it is not at all necessary to neglect our physical and material existence to succeed on the spiritual path. All that we seek to do is to normalize each of our functions without atrophy of any of them.
Master says, “If the material life is leading us astray and away from our goal, then obviously it is our fault in not living the material life in the appropriate fashion. So all that we have to do to get back on to our path is to restore the proper “balance” to our life, whereby the two halves of existence are harmonized and in equilibrium.”

That is what we call striking a balance.

But the process is generally delayed for a considerable time because while living in the guru’s mental sphere, the disciple retains the consciousness of his own thoughts and feeling. Thus we find that the position of a guru is much the same as that of a mother. The conception of guru as a spiritual mother promotes in us feelings of love, reverence and surrender, which are the main factors of spiritual life.
It is said that below the human level everything evolves automatically, naturally, level to level, like water rising in a tank when new water flows in. At our level we have to do it consciously. Above our level, again, you know, it is automatic, natural, infinite
